The Recycled Wallet from Holstee

Alright environmentalists and lovers of cool things, Holstee‘s recycled wallet is for you. This brilliant company, that was started by two brothers last year, is one of the most avant-garde environmentally-friendly companies I’ve ever heard of (please challenge this readers) and this wallet is a perfect example. The slim wallet is made almost entirely – the website states the wallet is composed of “(at least) 90% recycled material) - of garbage and plastic bags from the streets of New Delhi. And at only $25, this is a massively affordable product while giving back – ok more like “not taking away” – at the same time.

“Working with a family-run non-profit based in India that works to collect and recycle litter off the streets of Delhi we were able to create our dream wallet. This vegan wallet is made primarily of plastic bags and newspapers, collected off the Streets of Delhi in India. Production of this wallet helps reduce waste in Delhi, provides fair wage employment and subsidizes healthcare and education for each employee’s family.”
