SXSW Focus: Moog/SwitchedOn Showcase

With the myriad of musical overbookings that bog down SXSW (kicking off now in Austin), it’s tough to narrow down the unique showcases actually worth seeing — especially when New Yorkers and Los Angelinos can catch most of the participating artists on their own turf, anyway. But here’s one not to be missed: the SwitchedOn showcase this Saturday, March 16th, starting at 8pm at the Elysium, featuring Austra, The Soft Moon, Xeno and Oaklander, Kontravoid, Survive, and Ssleeperhold. With a lineup this solid, it’s not surprise that legendary synth brand Moog is the event’s official sponsor alongside SwitchedOn, Austin’s premiere synth retailer.
