Despite the disappointing announcement that band member Kjartan Sveinsson has left Sigur Rós, the Icelandic band will continue to tour and they’ve released a teaser to promote their forthcoming world tour for 2013. They’ll be heading to North America, Europe, Asia, and what’s really exciting is that they’ll be playing with a full 11-piece band AND they’ll be playing brand new material. Word is that the new tunes will be more aggressive, and if what I’m hearing in the clip is a good indication of the direction they’re heading towards, this should be one hell of a tour.
