Sennheiser EcoVinyl Turntables

by ThinkCONTRA   |

Going green goes past the types of transportation, recycling, etc. Now, going green involves your listening experience. Matthew Lim, a graduate of the Art Center College of Design, presents EcoVinyl, a turntable-headphone duo made from sustainable materials. It’s a product pitch to Sennheiser and the turntable contains a high-density fiberboard, which is often used for audio-system closure boxes because of its ability to carry sound reverb; cork for the turntable and earphone headband; and aluminum. Sennheiser has yet to commit to this product, lets just hope someone will because it’s something that can take your audio experience to different levels.
