Scene in Wynwood: August 2014

Anyone who knows South Florida is familiar with Wynwood, the ever-evolving mecca of Miami’s arts and culture scene. From humidity-ridden Art Walks (the second Saturday of every month) to power ups at Panther Coffee, a relatively new neighborhood became home.

The Wynwood Arts District Association has been operating since 2009, when developers took over neglected warehouses and abandoned buildings and transformed them to create one of the most creative communities around. Now, these once-vacant spaces make up the galleries, restaurants, cafes, clubs and visionary spaces that house our favorite local businesses.

A myriad of colors and textures, no one scene is alike. Follow our series as we get up close and personal with our favorite views.
