Police Eyewear 30th Anniversary ‘Look Beyond’ Commemorative Book

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Police Eyewear will release a commemorative book entitled Look Beyond where Michele Pecchioli and Italian photographer Giovanni Gastel capture well-known personalities such as Luke Evans, Alek Wek and Carlo Cracco in a series of black and white photographs. Staying true to the title, the concept is an attempt to depict what it means to overcome boundaries and obstacles that often prevent us from truly understanding our surroundings and ourselves. There will also be an exclusive pair of celebratory shades in the iconic aviator style that’s expected to be available on April 2013 at Harvey Nichols. The design features a classic pilot shape with a special gold plated frame, contrasted by the leather arms that are conjoined by the winged Police logo.

Proceeds from the sales of both the sunglasses and the book will go to benefit Doctors Without Borders, an organization that aims to provide at least 600 malnourished children with ready to use therapeutic food.
