Nude’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection
Just one look at Nude’s new Spring/Summer 2011 collection and your eyes will fall in love with Japanese designer Masahiko Maruyama’s sleek yet simple lines.
Maruyama attended the Vantan Design Institute in the late-eighties before working for SUPER LOVERS CO., where he designed women’s clothing. It wasn’t until later that Maruyama tried his hand at menswear, launching Nude in 1996.
“We have been creating simple yet high quality clothes with conscientious design and detailing†says Maruyama on his online label profile. The new 2011 collection uses monochromatic colors, making the sharp vertical lines the focal point of his work.
Currently, Nude is only available in select boutiques in Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, New York, Toyko and Verona.
