My Bloody Valentine Broke The Internet With First Album in 22 Years

by Colleen Nika   |

The new My Bloody Valentine record, MBV, arrived on the web this Saturday night, promptly throwing thousands of devotees into near cardiac arrest, and essentially breaking the Internet for several hours. Once MyBloodyValentine.Org restored itself, people were able to actually buy and hear the music, which everyone more or less universally agrees is inevitably pretty great. Instead of joining the circle jerk of opinions, though, we’d love for you to satisfy your own curiosity and judge for yourself by either purchasing the record. The band courteously uploaded each track, so you can stream the whole record on Youtube, but we’ve included a few of our early favourites here.
