Michelle Williams for Vogue October 2011

Michelle Williams graces the cover of Vouge’s October 2011 issue, all while playing the role of Marilyn Monroe. The idea was inspired by Williams’ role in her upcoming movie, My Week with Marilyn. In this photo shoot shot by Annie Leibovitz, Leibovitz captures Williams in memorable, iconic scenes and backgrounds that Monroe has been in. On the cover, Williams is wearing a seashell-pink, bead-encrusted Oscar de la Renta gown. See more of the shoot below and remember, “My Week with Marilyn” hits US theatres November 4.
