Kidult ‘Not Art By Kidult’ T-Shirt

I think by now most of you have heard about the whole Marc Jacobs and Kidult feud. So quick recap: Kidult tags Marc Jacobs’ SoHo storefront. In retaliation, the designer instagrams his graffiti-sprayed shop and decides to make a quick buck out of it by printing the image on a tee. Right now, that shirt — dubbed ‘Art by Art Jacobs’ — is worth $689. Kidult’s response? A tee of his own he calls ‘Not Art By Kidult’ which features an image of the artist tagging the store with a fire extinguisher in hand. This one is selling for a way more reasonable price at €6.89 on his site.

So, think this feud will continue? Or is it some sort of elaborate publicity stunt that many speculate it to be? Whatever it is, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.
