Remember JR‘s Wrinkles of the City project in Los Angeles? The French artist’s latest effort to the series will be released in a book, which took him and American artist José Parlá to Havana, Cuba for the city’s Havana Biennale art festival. The contents will contain portraits and short biographies of the 25 senior citizens they photographed and interviewed who lived through the Cuban revolution, and of course, photographs of the murals JR and Parlá put up. There’s also going to be a film documenting the trip which is due out some time in 2013.
The book is available exclusively at The Standard until February 2013.
