Jeff Nishinaka is a Paper Genius

Jeff Nishinaka’s use of paper is something I have never seen in my life. What look like sculptures made of marble or some other malleable material are works made entirely of white printer paper and as Cool Hunter points out, Nishinaka’s use of white paper “makes the exquisite play of light and shadow a large part of the appeal of his work”. The Los Angeles-born artist has had private commissions as well as having worked for companies like Visa, Toyota and Coke and the biggest collector of Nishinaka’s work – in addition to being his friend – is Jackie Chan. I don’t even want to know how much one of these pieces costs…
