Frank Ocean for Band of Outsiders

Celebrity-endorsed campaigns have become a necessary marketing tool for competing fashion brands today. While many houses choose to incorporate the celebrity into their work through flattering editorial, Band of Outsiders has had a different approach. In recent campaigns, the vintage-inspired New York-based clothing label has taken a more personable eye to celebrity collaboration: a series of intimate polaroid photographs capturing the raw essence of each of their famed tastemakers. We’ve seen Kirsten Dunst at peace with nature, Josh Brolin atop a horse in a rugged moment, and now, Frank Ocean, more vulnerable than ever before. The four images above, captured by Band of Outsider’s Scott Sternberg, personify the singer/songwriter’s emotional spectrum, and were shot at the Los Angeles Time Building. More images are set to be released soon.
