From the Naked & Famous Denim showroom in Montreal, here’s a peep at the Fall/Winter offerings for men (and a bit for the ladies) for the 2012 season. Camo! Sashiko! Pomegranate! And an indigo selvedge that fades to red! But you’re not surprised I bet, since you know the boys at N&F never do anything ordenimnary. Slim shirts get special attention, sporting multi-coloured polka dots, jacquard snowflakes and full on quince-style flowers. A pale blue chambray Regular Shirt stands out, but their SlimCrew long sleeved sweaters and Slim Hoodie in four colours beckon to be worn on a cold Canadian-winter day. Nice work guys. Rap music was making a progressive step on the West Coast and the relatively few people that were really into that music and that scene in Los Angeles tended to know one another or frequent the same spots.

Mike Miller is effortlessly and sincerely the real deal, and I don’t throw those words around lightly. Besides the immense amount of influential work, his ease, confidence and personal ethos has been a major inspiration to me, and this video is an effort to pass that inspiration around the world like a big fat community blunt.”

From Elaine’s stiff dance in Seinfeld to Napoleon Dynamite’s epic moves to Jamiroquai’s ‘Canned Heat,’ Niege Borges Alves‘ has immortalized some of pop culture’s most infamous choreography in a poster series entitled ‘Dancing Plague of 1518.’ The artwork was inspired by a dancing mania that occurred in 1518 in a French town called Stransbourg where people magically decided to bust a move.
