Fantasmes – Redness Moon (Video)

The Puerto Rican sound-artist duo of Dario Morales and Mario Negron make up the amazing psych-rock band, Fantasmes.
Having just recently stumbled upon their music, I’ve found myself just in time for the release of the duo’s first album, Redness Moon LP, set to be released on September 4th via Last Bummer Records.

From what I’ve heard thus far, the resonating reverberations of sounds Fantasmes are reminiscent of the long warm summer festival season that I’m sure by September, I will be longing for.

The original lyrics for the Redness Moon track were published via Fantasmes in their online blog over the weekend. Not only do I think this adds a somewhat unique air of honesty to the pair in their method of music making, but allows for an element of genuine vulnerability when listening to the song for the first time; quite refreshing, and all around brilliant.
