Céline’s minimalist accessories have amassed a cult following, but for spring, Phoebe Philo took a step toward the surreal, with pumps resembling perfectly pedicured feet. Sure, trompe l’oeil shoes have popped up before — at Comme des Garçons and Maison Martin Margiela — but Céline’s take on the idea was a playful counterpoint to the sharply tailored looks.
