This is a first for Carine Roitfeld — of course not the styling part of high profile fashion campaigns — but rather fronting the other side of the camera, starring in the Givenchy Fall 2013 spot, alongside her daughter Julia Restoin Roitfeld. The fashionable fashion family affair are joined alongside Amanda Seyfried, Spanish actor Quim Gutiérrez and models Mariano Ontañon and Dalianah Arekion, people Riccardo Tisci told WWD that echothe gypsy inspiration behind his collection. “[They] are real gypsies in their own lives. They are never in one place. They travel the world.”  Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the entire set will break mid-July.

Could photographer Mario Sorrenti have solved the blonde versus brunette debate once and for all? In this editorial questionably entitled Sauvage, brown-haired babe Andreea Diaconu and blonde bombshell Anja Rubik get wet and NSFW in the best way possible, for a fashion shoot that could be selling a bottle of water for all we know, appearing in the Vogue Paris July 2013 issue. Actually we’ve decided that the debate brings us to one answer: we’ll omit the ‘versus’ and take them both.

Nasty Gal has basically conquered the internet . The e-com giant is now getting it’s pretty little fingers into the collaboration game. Announcing a partnership with ’90s-inspired British label Lazy Oaf, a brand who we featured back a few summers ago. You can read that here. We were drawn initially to their cartoonish graphics and bright colors — which is so unlike us — and so too you will find it here in the capsule collection from Lazy Oaf and Nasty Gal. Slated to launch on the site Tuesday, May 28, there will be crop tops,  rainbows, cartoon-printed knickers [ think Lisa Frank and Debbie Gibson]. Check out the teaser video after the jump and relive your own electric youth.

Brain Calvin is an artist, born and raised in California. His work has become synonymous with the sun-drenched sands and lifestyle of L.A. living, his portraits, those appearing in Raf Simons Spring 2013 collection, feature bleary-eyed youth, painted on backgrounds that are ‘generalized glimpses of California’. The Belgian designer used Calvin’s art on oversized t-shirts, silk scarves and sweaters, making this a true hybrid that speaks for clothing as art.

Since 2008, Hopeless has been creating handmade lingerie and sleepwear from a small home studio in Melbourne, Australia. Everything is designed and hand sewn by Gabrielle Adamidis, who is inspired by old films, architecture, modern art, and loves B-grade horror films too. All garments are customisable in size and colour, all are made to order, and most are limited editions. This film pulls your attention from the jump, with a clashing orchestration of scary sounds. A woman lying on a metal bed who appears to have escaped a near death situation comes to a confused state of conciousness, and in some Frankenstienish way, is revived and re-morphed in to the ultimate monster — a fashion model.
