Bob Recine x Barneys New York Collaborate for Chloé 60th Anniversary

Bob Recine, the hair-stylist turned visual artist and longtime collaborator with Barneys New York, has teamed up with the high-end department store once again to create an experiential ode to Chloé in honor of the fashion house’s 60^th anniversary.  Recine’s window display, now on view at the Barney’s Madison Avenue, offers a galactical view into a geometric atmosphere filled with nostalgia and exploration.

The veritable sculptures of woven hair, the retro colors, and the iconic Chloé pieces by former designer Karl Lagerfeld that sit below create a celebratory feeling of limitless and longevity.  Recine said of the project: “We translated hair into something that has nothing to do with hair. It’s always my starting and inspiration point to create something explosive and interesting, and something for people to stop and stare and look at.”
