Biting Elbows – ‘Bad Motherfucker’ (Video)

Biting Elbows sounds challenging. I like a challenge. Bad motherfuckers? I like them too. I like to think that sometime when faced with a challenge, like biting an elbow, I could be a bad motherfucker and do it (or at least try). Was this the thought process behind Russian band Biting Elbows and their latest track “Bad Motherfucker”? I don’t know guys. But I mean, it’s kind of an awesome combination of things, and when you watch the video maybe you’ll understand. The opening is much like that of really bad porn, but then it really gets bad ass! Shot by Sergey Valyaev and Ilya Naishuller, the video for Russian indie-punk band Biting Elbows’ track “Bad Motherfucker” plays out like one huge first-person action game. Utilizing GoPro-style technology, the viewer is transported into the middle of a desperate escape from an office full of secret agents and attack dogs. After a big car chase and a death-defying fight on the top of office buildings, it’s revealed that the lead man (or the viewer) is protecting a teleportation device which is activated when immersed in water. If you haven’t heard of the band before, don’t worry, the video is worth watching for the stunts and cinematic techniques alone.
