Alois di Leo’s ‘The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Lion’ Animated Short (Video)
There’s been a lot of incredible animated short’s this week and the latest one I’ve come across comes from Alois di Leo. The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Lion follows a seven-year-old deaf boy in the 60s who visits the zoo on a school trip and becomes obsessed with a lion. The animation is beautiful, and di Leo does a brilliant job shifting from the protagonist’s point of view to the supporting cast. The story itself will seem like a simple harmless tale, but it’ll leave you feeling extremely unsettled once you’re through the clip. Watch and you’ll know what I mean.
